Bio

Casey Chaput (formerly Casey Pohlmeyer) has been coaching for Seacoast Field Hockey since 2016. She started her career at Severna Park High School, Maryland where she was a four time state champion. While in high school, she played for Spark Field Hockey Club where she won the national indoor tournament as a U-16 and U-19, both times in the A-Pool. She continued her field hockey career at UNH as a four-year starter and two-year captain, winning conference in 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013. During those years she made the All-Academic Squad all four years, First Team All Conference in 2012 and 2013, and Second Team All Conference in 2011. She captained the UNH team alongside her role model and favorite coach in the world, Meg Bozek. She was also named to the USA Field Hockey National Indoor Team in 2012. Her senior year, she was nominated for Regional All-American and selected for the senior game. After college, she coached at Windham High School where she helped coach the team to 4 state championships in her 6 years there. Now, she is a high school math teacher at Winnacunnet High School, umpires high school field hockey and is currently coaching Seacoast U-19 Gold. Some fun facts about Coach Casey: she loves reading, playing field hockey with Coach Jessi, Lex, and Meg, spends her weekends watching Netflix, her spirit animal is a wolf, and she thoroughly enjoys long walks on the beach!!
